Fall Creek PTA - Cass Park Ice Skating Program Returns in January
Fall Creek PTA presents…
2012 Fall Creek – Cass Park Ice Skating Program!
Thursdays, 2:00 PM – 4:20 PM
January 12, 19 & 26, and February 2, 9 & 16
Winter is here, and it’s time to get on the ice. Once a week for six weeks, skaters will be transported from Fall Creek School by bus to Cass Park Rink for an afternoon of skating. Parent volunteers will chaperone students on the bus, while getting into and out of skates, and during the 90-minute skating session.
The program is open to all students in grades K-5. Inexperienced skaters (who do not yet skate independently) have the option to enroll with the accompaniment of a parent/guardian OR enroll in small group lessons for an additional fee.
The basic registration fee includes transportation, skate fee, and a snack. Students who don’t own skates may rent them for an additional fee. Small-group lessons are also available at a very reasonable price.
Financial assistance is available. All are encouraged to join the fun! To request assistance, make sure to register as early as possible. Please check the box under “Program Fees” on the Registration Form. You will be contacted shortly after the January 4 registration deadline with information about the amount of assistance available to you.
This is a volunteer-run program. Parents are welcome and encouraged to accompany the skaters as often as they wish and are able. Parent chaperones skate for free (skate rental fee of $3 applies) !
The deadline to enroll is Wednesday, January 4, 2012. To register, please print and fill out the form, and return it with payment to the PTA mailbox in the main office, or to your child’s teacher. If you have questions about the program, please contact Nancy Braun at 607-342-0677 or email@example.com.
